YOGA

Yoga is a practical aid, not a religion. It is an ancient art based on harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with their environment. This is a simple definition.  The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga will also bring about emotional stability and clarity of mind. Suitable for all ages, body types, and fitness levels- everyone can find something unique to them within the practice of yoga. 

Star Flow Yoga

This class will move through a series of sun salutations to invigorate the body and build internal heat allowing the participant the ability to move into deeper postures including twists, arm balances, core building and back bends. Some flow, or vinyasa yoga is recommended, but not necessary. Expect to learn classic yoga postures through deep awareness of correct alignment within your body. The foundation of all yoga comes from core strength and breath, and this class does not disappoint.  This class is led to music and encourages the participant to let go into the movement and the beat. 

YOGA burn (coming soon!)

Combines classic yoga postures with dynamic strength training, creating a powerful mind-body workout. Traditional yoga movements are blended with fun props to enhance strength, mobility and balance. This will deepen your yoga practice and support your strength training needs. You'll find anything from small isometric movements to cardio bursts with weights. Lead with music. No previous yoga experience required. Just a willingness to sweat!
