Group reformer classes allows students to work with the Reformer Apparatus without having to pay the fees for a private session. The Group Reformer class utilizes spring controlled resistance to build core strength, increase flexibility, endurance and coordination. At Star Pilates and Fitness we have Balanced Body equipment for optimal training. The result is a strong, yet flexible, well toned body, without muscle bulk. Reformer work is also great for injury treatment, posture correction and immobility. Reservations are suggested. Check for different levels suitable to your needs. 2 students per class minimum, 5 maximum. 24 hour cancellation policy is enforced. If using a prepaid monthly package- no cancellations are allowed. 


Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity. 

Pilates Mat: This intermediate level class reviews the fundamentals of the beginner class while moving on to the more challenging exercises and repertoire. Learn the cadence and rhythm of a more aerobic mat. This class is best designed for seasoned Pilate's students. 

Pilates Lite: Start with the fundamentals of the mat work. In this class you will learn the basic series of exercises upon which the entire Pilates method id built. The heavy emphasis on abdominal strengthening is a necessity at every fitness level. 

Prop Pilates: Take the descriptions above and just add props. Pilates circles, large fit balls, mini footballs, foam rollers, bands, weights, TRX....the list goes on. Be prepared to utilize a variety of props to maximize your body's potential. 

Roll, Release, Relax: Using a foam roller for trigger point release, recharge your body after a long week of work, exercise, play, and set your weekend off right. 


This class is a one hour plan designed to deliver a balanced, total-body workout that you can do anytime, anywhere. All movements are low impact and designed to burn fat, build muscle and break through plateaus. It is a combination of several things: isometric holds, small movements within the hold and large dynamic movement. Isometric holds work your muscles to their deepest points and increase strength and endurance, as well as give you the time to find the perfect posture in the position for maximum benefit. Layering in the small movements, think one inch, creates relief int he muscles to maintain the integrity of the posture while heating the body, increasing core strength, and revving up the metabolism. After exhausting the muscles through these small movements and holds, we flush out the body with functional, large, dynamic moves which lifts the heart rate, improves circulation and mobility and energizes the body. 

Anyone can do this low impact sequence and see dramatic results. All ages and all fitness levels are welcome. We can work with injuries and even pregnancies. Barre classes can help anyone build strength, lose weight, and transform your entire body. 


Top notch instructors, invigorating music, and visualization come together to make this spinning class super fun and totally effective. Regardless of how fit, flexible or coordinated you are, you'll get a great cardio vascular workout complimented with upper body strength training as well as constant core work. While there is lots of variety and some choreography in this spin class, the lights are out and the bikes are equipped with resistance knobs controlled by the rider- so you can really take this ride wherever YOU want to go. Be prepared to sweat and smile as you get taken a ride full of surprises. 


The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise,  because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

Yoga is a practical aid, not a religion. It is an ancient art based on harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with their environment. This is a simple definition.  The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga will also bring about emotional stability and clarity of mind. Suitable for all ages, body types, and fitness levels- everyone can find something unique to them within the practice of yoga. 

 Star Flow  1/2: This class starts with a vinyasa flow of sun salutations and hatha postures and ends with restorative yoga. Some vinyasa experience is recommended, but not necessary. This class teaches the classic yoga postures though a deep awareness of correct alignment and precise actions in the body. Highly therapeutic, this technique helps to refine your poses while it trains the mind to remain alert, focused and composed. It also focuses on restorative yoga with gentle, calming and therapeutic guidance to relax the body into balance. 

Star Sculpted Yoga: Walk into the heated room and prepare to take your practice to the next level with this journey of strength, flexibility and mind body awareness as you move through a series of flowing postures, with layered weight work. Likened to a dynamic dance, this is a practice where postures (or asanas) are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. Classes build heat, endurance, flexibility and strength. The creative sequencing found in a vinyasa class is often built around surya namaskar (sun salutations). Experience recommended for levels 2 and above.

Starry Night Yoga: Enjoy a close to your day with this gentle flow of postures and movement to increase mobility and flexibility and calm the body down. Expect to leave relaxed and blissed out, ready for a good night's sleep. No experience necessary.
